About the Fund
The Detroit Firemen's Fund Association was founded in 1866 for the purpose of providing aid to the widows of fallen fire fighters.
As members of the Fund, we are there to provide assistance and support to families during their time of need. It is during these difficult times, that we are there to help.
Our membership is comprised of both active and retired fire fighters, and is supported by membership dues, fund raisers, and other monetary donations by concerned patrons in our community.
We also volunteer our time with community activities. Our special Clown Team and Thrill Team provide entertainment for the community and have put a smile on children's faces when they are ill or recovering from serious injuries or burns.
Fire Fighters are a special breed, they don't preach the life of brotherhood they live it.

Golf Outing 2010
We are currently working on the golf outing for 2010 at beautiful Gowanie . Contact the Fund with your foursome 961-2988. Great Outing!! $100 gets you a Golf Shirt, prizes, skins, breakfast and dinner. All we need is good weather.

Here are a few of the new designs I've created over the last two years as Sundry Chairman. My goal is to continue to bring fresh ideas to the clothing line because the revenue helps offset the cost of the Fund.

As you can see the site has been changing. I'm the new Webmaster. Ed Veda handled the website for years. I hope to do the job as good as Ed did. If you have any ideas send me an e-mail. I'm always looking to improve things. TTYS
